I went in with a rabbit that I knew nothing about. I was greeted and treated with the utmost respect along with understanding and also they gave me the points where I was being a good parent. I recommend this veterinary hospital to anyone and everyone! Special shout out to Torie And Doctor Whitesell; I was a new person they made me feel comfortable happy and welcome to always come back. If you got the time if you got the money this is where you need to go.

We live in Charlotte and have tried numerous vets, the expense spared and finally after 11 years found Dr. Whitesell who is never rushed, always ready to listen, gives you options, follows up with research and articles via email. Love love love. She sees 6 of our dogs, 5 are Shar Pei rescues which are notorious for countless medical issues.

I want to thank Dickson Animal Clinic for taking such good care of our pup (Asia) over these many years. Not only did the staff do everything possible the help her live a long, enjoyable life, they were right by our side when the heartbreaking time to finally say goodbye arrived. Typically I would wait a bit longer to leave a review like this since I’ve only been here 2x, but I already feel confident enough to say this office is fantastic. We brought our cane corso for a consultation on ear cropping and came away with a perfect understanding of what to expect. Dr Hovis explained his preferred length for the ears, which coincidentally is exactly what I wanted, and performed the surgery today. He let us know when the procedure was started, when it was over, and when our pup would be ready to come home. He explained post op process to us and set up our return visits for check up and demonstration on posting the ears. Every member of the staff was friendly and the place was extremely clean! If you didn’t know it was a vet, you would have no idea animals were ever even in there! I will come back at some point after he’s healed and shared final photos, but the steps Dr Hovis has put forth should get us to an excellent end result!

Dickson Animal Clinic staff is always so nice to our animals. I couldn’t see myself taking them anywhere else. They are so helpful, accommodating & accessible. They have been there for our Dog Angel & has puppies & then they were there for his daughter’s puppies. 🙏🏽❤️ …

Dr. Hovis has been taking excellent care of my fur babies for 30 plus years. The whole staff is very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Plus their services are very reasonable when it comes to charges when compared to other vets I have used. Being a customer there 3 decades speaks volumes.

If I could give them more stars I would. I usually take my all three of my dogs here for their shots, nail trimming, flea medicine but today was a little different. My beagle was acting unusual this morning so we called ahead and rushed her over. They knew how to not only take care of their patient but also the owner, who in those moments freak out because their family is hurting. They’re so helpful and understanding and more importantly great at their jobs!

My first time at Dickson Animal Clinic. My dog was very ill and everyone from the Receptionists to the Techs and the Doctors were all caring and compassionate. They treated 'Lil Bit and he got better and I was able to bring him home. I highly recommend them to everyone.
